"When the beauty of commonplace objects stops me in my tracks... the way the sunlight of summer in Muskoka hits an everyday item and makes me notice it in a fresh way, that's what moves me to paint."

Muskoka based artist Tim Webb has had a lifelong affair with paint... a relationship that has resulted in his long and rewarding career. Although you may not realize it, it is highly unlikely that you haven't seen Tim's work. From Canada, to the US, to overseas, major companies like Second Cup, McDonald's, Ben Moss Jeweller's, Novotel and so many others have depended on Tim to brand their look with original artwork in locations across the country and around the world, and through his association with companies such as Cara Foods and Madison Homes, his work hangs in countless hospitals, airports, universities and model homes coast-to-coast. Closer to home, you may have walked by Tim's contributions to Huntsville's Group of 7 Outdoor Gallery, or Baysville's striking outdoor mural festival.

Tim is also a Scenic Designer and his stage sets have adorned many theatres in Ontario a well as in his second home, the Miami area of South Florida.

Ironically, over the past 20 years Tim has never had the opportunity to build and display a body of work in one location, nor the freedom to paint for the sheer pleasure of it. That adventure will now find its home in his studio at the new Gypsy Market Mews in Gravenhurst.

"Muskoka is a boundless source of beauty and inspiration for an artist and I am blessed every day to have this wealth of imagery at my beck and call."
